Meet the Midwife
Elizabeth Aviles, APRN-CNM
I love the art of birth and believe it is a beautiful natural process. Every woman who desires a natural birth deserves to be supported in their innate strength to do so.
I enjoy standing as a guardian of normal physiologic birth and protecting the safe space women desire at one of the most vulnerable stages of their life cycle. I am dedicated to providing moms and their families holistic and family centered care throughout their antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum journeys.

Birth is a normal physiologic process: We trust that your body will to go through labor under its own innate power. Most people can give birth without medical intervention. Homebirth with a skilled birth attendant is the safest option for low-risk pregnancies and labor.
Diversity should be honored and all family types should be celebrated.
Community-based midwifery care, along with consultation and collaboration with other medical professionals, provides the best outcomes for mothers and babies.
A healthy midwife-client relationship is based on mutual trust and respect. Midwives should be accessible to every person seeking that model of care.

We respect the process of normal physiological birth and know how to support you and your family throughout the experience. We are there for you from the first appointment to your six-week postpartum checkup and all the milestones in-between.
The Baby Catcher, PLLC team is committed to being a calm, reassuring presence at your homebirth while providing support, information, and a safe environment. We help facilitate a positive and empowering birth experience by allowing birth to occur naturally.

Dr. Violetta Lozovyy, OB/GYN
Dr. Lozovyy is a board-certified OB/GYN and Maternal-Fetal medicine specialist with over a decade of experience at High Risk Pregnancy Doctors in Frisco, TX. She is committed to providing exceptional care to patients at every stage of their pregnancy. She has worked with midwives, and is very familiar with the midwifery model of care. She also understands that clients seeking midwifery care are a unique population seeking a unique type of care. She is happy to collaborate with midwives because she knows that low risk pregnancies can be safely managed in an out of hospital environment under the care of professionally trained midwives and she believes in minimizing barriers and increasing patient access to safe options.
